Call for help might mean setting aside our own solutions
by Sister Agnes Fischer
Whoever asks, receives. Whoever seeks, finds. To whomever knocks, the door is opened.
Ask and it will be given:
- Maybe that we ask is not good for us; for which parents would give their children something that would harm them? In that event would we be willing, without bitterness or resentment, to not receive that which we want?
Seek and you will find:
- We might have to stop seeking, for example a cure for some illness or recovery of a financial loss, and instead seek the resignation to endure it and maybe learn from it.
Knock and it will be opened:
- Maybe it’s the same door on which we have been knocking for a while. Or maybe it’s a door that we never even suspected existed behind which may be a whole new life possibility.
How open are we to the response God has in store for us?
Very good reflection sis
