"The Star, The Men, The Woman, The Heart" (Epiphany Evening of Reflection)

The Epiphany story of 2,000 years ago is ours today. We seek Jesus, to be in His presence, just as the three kings did. Our presentation,  “The Star, The Men, The Woman, The Heart,” is told in four parts, imagining    the Epiphany from each perspective. Participants will enjoy storytelling, art and prayer involving the star, a wise man, Mary and  the Heart -- Jesus.  (Jan. 5, 2023)

Three Nights, Three Pillars of Lent (Almsgiving)

Traditionally focused on monetary giving to assist the needy, the scope of almsgiving may be broadened to include sharing one’s time, talents and treasure. Sister Sally Ann Brickner will share Shel Silverstein’s parable "The Giving Tree"  which will provide a backdrop for contemplating the relationship between the boy and the tree that analogously pertains to Jesus’ self-emptying example in his dying and rising.   (March 24, 2021)

Our Founder: Father Daems

Our Community of Sisters owes its establishment to Father Edward Daems, a Crozier priest who came to Northeastern Wisconsin in the mid-1800s to help other priests ministering to the area's immigrant population. Sister Mary Kabat explains that despite the hardships of poverty and illness, Father Daems' faith persevered. He cared for people's spiritual and physical needs, and, before he died, he gave us the gift of our Franciscan charism.
