Rose and Frank Vandersteen

"Taste and See the Goodness of the Lord" is the mantra in the hearts of Rose and Frank each morning. That prayer inspires them to extend hospitality to many people. They love their four adult children and families. Rose extends her love with St. Jude Parish in service as a Eucharistic minister, lector, sacristan, and volunteer in the parish office. Frank also serves as a Eucharistic minister and sacristan in the parish.

Frank and Rose said that understanding and living the spirit of Francis is important to them. They admired the spirit of gentleness, humility, and simplicity in the Sisters with whom they were acquainted with before they became Associates.  They recognize now that those are the qualities that come from living the spirit of St. Francis and living the Gospel message.
